You can tell if someone has had an off/or has pitted, or is closing gaps, before the live coverage and I found myself watching that more than the actual TV coverage.
In 2020, I got the TV coverage back, but noticed the live timing is definitely ahead of the live coverage (not by much but ahead). I used it for the first time in 2019, when I didn't have any means of watching the races live and its really good way of watching, while waiting for race highlights.
